on the stage today was that he called it obama care. don't forget nancy pelosi was saying the other week, it's not obama care, it's the affordable care act. what the president was saying, it's obama care. when he was really doing, i agree with you, talking mostly to democrats today, i think. he was saying if you want this not to be a political liability, then you have to go out and help me sell this and help me make it work. almost like launching another political campaign here where he's saying to organizing for america or liberal and progressive groupz and any supporters of the law or democratic elected officials all across the country, get people signed up. especially younger and healthier people so that this will work. he said, there's no going back. it's not going to be repealed not as long as i'm president. let's sell it and make it work. he was basically speaking to the troops today about what sales points they should make. >> you mentioned those troops and organizing for america, as you know, this was one of the most innovative campaigns ever, gathering 16 million on a network. and y

the page on obama care. today the president will kick off a new three-week campaign to refocus the public's attention to the positive aspects of the health care law. senior administration officials tell politico the white house will target different benefits of the law each day leading up to the december 23rd deadline to receive coverage by the beginning of the new year. roughly 100,000 people signed up for health insurance through the federal exchange last month. of course, up from the under 27,000 who successfully signed up for coverage in the month of october. meanwhile, the white house picked up a key legal victory yesterday as the supreme court said it would not hear a case challenging the law's employer mandate. however, a new poll shows one key group president obama was hoping would sign up for coverage, the so-called young invincibles, is the least informed about the law. gallup finds just 63% of adults under the age of 30 say they are familiar with the law. that's at least nine points lower than any other group, suggesting the white house, well, they've got a little bit of work t

they wouldn't eat until an immigration reform bill is passed. some are now on day 21. president obama and the first lady visited them last week, bringing attention to their cause, but can they change minds? margie o'mara is a democratic pollster, hector barreto joins us also. we know these protesters have been fasting for weeks. they have prayed at the offices of speaker boehner. in the real world, does something like this help to get bills passed? >> i think it brings attention to the issue and this is an important issue. we were very hopeful earlier in the year when the senate passed their bill that there was going to be more movement on this. the reality is they don't have a lot of days left in this year and they have a lot of big issues so this probably is going to be something that's going to be tackled at the beginning of the next year. >> and even if it waits until next year, there's still this argument over how to get it done. and there's the article in the national review that looks at the benefits of a step-by-step plan rather than a comprehensive bill. if you think amnesty

for the nation under romney care in massachuset massachusetts. after a terrible first few weeks on the federal healthcare.gov website, the obama administration now says the site is working for most people most of the time, which is what they were hoping for by december 1. if the health care website is, in fact, working that much more smoothly, that should musmooth e way for more people to get enrolled across the country. in the first nine weeks, in general, states running their own exchanges, kentucky included, they have done better than states that are not running their own exchanges and letting the federal government do it. but as the federal system works these kinks out, the numbers are going to keep going up. they're going to keep going up and up, even in places like mississippi, even in places like mississippi, which has done everything it can to ruin its own citizens' chances of getting health insurance, even to the point of unplugging what they had, which was working, which they designed for themselves. even in a state like mississippi, where the governor has been doing everything he ca
